THE DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL Science of the University of Manitoba wants to purchase pregnant multiparous Holstein cows. Cow must be 3 to 4-months pregnant and in good health without obvious health concerns. Source farms must be Johne's free, and preferably free of digital dermatitis (hairy warts) Potential sellers must allow University veterinarians to test cows for health status and consult with the farm's veterinarian.
